"I graduated in 2015 and I am currently enrolled in a four year university. This high school didn't challenge me nearly enough and did not prepare me as well as I would have liked. There is too much of a focus on agricultural classes when there could be a more diverse selection of academic classes. I am unsure if they still used the "flipped classroom" technique, but it is silly to do so as countless studies show that students retain more information by actually writing down material. Some teachers were fantastic, while others should have never been considered at a candidate for the teaching positions they received. More funding should be received for the arts program as it is one of our best programs/clubs in the school. Much could be changed to make it a more productive learning environment that encourages kids to move on to the next level of education."

"I've been a student at Havana High School for a while now. When I graduate next May, I will be very happy to graduate. This school is located in a very small town, so there isn't a lot of diversity. However, the small campus is pretty safe. If you like small towns, Havana High School is definitely the perfect school. The sports teams are properly funded, even though few of the teams do very well. The music/art program is lacking in funding and attention, but I don't think that will be solved anytime soon. I don't feel prepared for college as of now, but I'm not sure because I'm still in high school. When it all boils down to it, I probably will miss Havana High School. It has been a nice place to grow into my own at."
