"Cultural diversity is something that seems normal to Hancock students. There's acceptance all around, to any individual who walks through those front doors. At Hancock, people care about personalities and who they click with, not about isolating those who are different."

"If I had the chance to redo my high school career, I probably would. Hancock Place High School has made an incredible lasting impact on my life, and I would go back to freshman year in a heartbeat. The staff and students alike are unlike any other. Instead of getting lost in the crowd in a school with 700 plus kids, at Hancock you can walk down the halls and see the smiling faces of those students that you've known since preschool. The clubs offered at Hancock High are another awesome plus as well. There's a club for everyone- GSA, FCA, NHS- you name it, Hancock has it. A small school doesn't mean small opportunities."

"Hancock Place High School is an extremely unique school. Never in my life have I witnessed staff that as so remarkable. Teachers make it their mission to aid the students in succeeding. The school is small, so the staff and students get to know each other very well, which only helps for an unforgettable bond. Though every individual has a different teaching style, they're all effective in conveying the necessary information to the students. Within the confines of a small school, interest in students and communication are key, and the staff at Hancock are some of the best in the business. As a student, it's important to be talked to like an adult, not a child, and the teachers make it their goal to make every student feel like they're where they need to be. Hancock High is not just home of the Tigers, it's also home to the extraordinary teachers and staff."
