"Raytown is a really diverse place. Everyone was very kind and focused on their future. The teachers and administration made it a safe and very educational environment for everyone! Any resource you needed, you would always be able to find."

"At Raytown High School it was just a really great way to connect with everyone and meet new people. There was always someone there to help you when you felt as though you were going to fail, didn't have someone to talk with, needed advice on grades and even just to chat about your day. The whole atmosphere at the school was what could make one's day. The knowing that coming in each day you would have a friend in somebody. Teacher, student, sibling, counselor whatever, you knew they were there. Although this may be my last year, Raytown high school gave me hope and confidence that no matter what I did or where I went after school, I could become somebody and be something. I've attended Raytown High school all 12 years of my high school life and knowing that as I complete my last year I can say that I have friends and staff to turn back to after."

"While high school is normally considered drab, I loved my time here. After graduating, I realized just how much I will miss the students, the teachers, the atmosphere in general. The teachers are helpful, engaging, and kind, and they are a lot of the reason why I'm majoring in Secondary Education. They made me love learning, and I want to have the same impact on the next generation of kids."

"When I first began school at Raytown, I expected it to be a breeze. For the most part, it was. I didn't struggle in many classes, and teachers seemed to be repetitive. But as I continued, I met others that made me challenge myself. I met teachers who could challenge me as well. Athletics overall was poor. I played football, and playing high school football is an experience that I would not change for the world. But we never had a winning season, and after my senior season, the entire coaching staff was fired. One more thing I can say is that parents love to involve themselves in school activities. Many volunteer and there is never a shortage of them at an event."
