"I wish it had less rules how are you supposed to set kids up for the real world with sheltering them? I wish there were more school spirt. I want the sports also academics to be more advanced. The kids to stop worrying about drama, also better lunch."

"I enjoyed this school and without hesitation would go back. Not only do you have your parents and teachers cheering for your success, but also other parents."

"Teachers make sure that all of their students are their number one priority. I can text, call, or email any of them after hours and they will respond and answer any of my questions."

"I've almost had top leave Riverside before. I drive around 40 minutes to school each day then 40 minutes back. I do it because I love it and the thought of leaving is a sad thing. I love riverside. The students aren't just my peers they are my family also. We celebrate birthdays, we come together during hard times. Sure like every school there are people you don't get along with, sometimes kids fight at school but for me being at riverside is one of the happiest places. I love being so close to everyone, feeling like everyone's in it with you and they have your back. The community never thought Riverside would be as successful as it is. We were two rival schools that came together. Everyone thought it would never work and it would be hectic all the time. But we all came together. As a consolidated school we didn't lose anything we just gained so many friends. I think that in and of itself makes us unique. We thought consolidation would rip apart friendships and that we'd lose our school spirit but in fact it just improved everything. I think that says a lot about the administration and students of Riverside High School."

"Most of our teachers are also people we all know outside of school. We see them at the grocery store or at church. To most of the students they aren't just people we see at school they are leaders in the community. Most of them are coaches of something or another. We have a lot of teachers on social media or even have their cell phone numbers. We've known most of them all their lives. I love that about Riverside. Everyone knows everyone on a personal level. Most of them even know our parents or aunts or uncles on a first name basis. But on the flip side the teachers tend to know all of the students business but I think that can also be a good thing. Our teachers aren't just our teachers they are people we know and trust in and outside of school, I think that's incredible important and something we are lucky to have at riverside."
