"There can be fighting and the neighborhood isn't the best, but the teachers are some of the best and always put their students first. While it is the poorest school in the district, they work hard with what they have and have brought home awards. Recently they won the state journalism title. This goes to show that although West may not have the most money, it is filled with hard working students who want to succeed. Being a part of the pioneer family isn't something I would ever trade."

"Hey. I went here for four years. It was a great school, the teachers will try to work with you, they will do everything in their power to help you succeed in life. Everything you accomplish is something that you should be very proud of. Always remember that you should work hard and enjoy high school!"

"I love the diversity. There are so many different people to meet. Everyone is so welcoming and accepting. I had a difficult time finding friends at another school but when I transfered to West I found the perfect friends and they love me for me! I'm so glad I transfered."

"Im still experiencing this scholl, but these past 2 years I like how we take advanced classes so we won't have to take them in college. This school can be annoying but I really like how the Circle of Friends (going to activities with the special kids) they are loved by everyone in school. If i was to make a few changes in the school I would ask the teachers to let us have a little more time in homeworks and for better food. This school is a great school."
