"Destrehan High School is a wonderful place for learning. I feel as though I am prepared for college and the real world. The teachers actually care about the students and making sure they graduate."

"I had a great time at Destrehan high school and what clubs they had. The football games were the best memories i have made at high school. The academic help was very helpful too."

"Academics-wise, there are multiple opportunities for earning college credit through AP classes in multiple subjects, and students do not have to pay for the AP test; however the actual testing accommodations could be improved (calling time too early, noise levels). Teachers are mostly nice from my experience but a few are not so good at actually teaching/explaining. From a personal perspective, more could be done to inform/prepare students for college and careers. There is a big focus on sports, especially football, with multiple teams to join (football, basketball, tennis, baseball, volleyball, etc.) and facilities available."

"It was very unique in it's own prospect to education which in my opinion is very one sided in preparation for further educational development of diverse students"

"Destrehan High school is an A rated school, and I believe it's rightly so. The school has practically no bullying problems, and the teachers are almost always there for the students no matter what. The school tries its best to keep students happy with things such as small "parties" where each grade level gets different things. This school also leverages its high school rival to do good for the world by having a contest of who can donate the most money to cancer research. Overall, this school is great and I couldn't have asked for a better one. In fact. the biggest "problem" would be the food quality, and that isnt even that bad! I want this school to continue to be great, so to make it better the school should invest a lot into the latest technology to help the classrooms. This school deserves way better than what it has right now."
