"I love Baton Rouge High. The stress is alot but that's what you singed up for. The only thing I would change is the teachers attitude towards educating us. They want to yell at us when we don't get something right, but they don't teach us and tell us how we got it wrong. They want us to learn my ourselves but teachers are supposed to teach."

"This school is where you need to be if you want to pursue a higher education and benefit many opportunities that most highschoolers do not have. It certainly focuses more on the academics; this school doesn't just prepare you for university, it prepares you for the Ivy League schools."

"Baton Rouge High offers a rigorous academic program along with a secure, stimulating environment for a student to flourish in. Currently ranked the #2 high school in Louisiana, BRH offers 27 AP courses, 17 Honors courses, and 2 Dual Enrollment courses at the nearby Baton Rouge Community College. The AP participation rate is 63 percent among all students. The student body itself is 35 percent male to 65 percent female, with an overall minority enrollment of 66 percent. The administration utilizes a zero tolerance discipline policy to ensure the safety and security of the school environment. The school has four full computer labs as classrooms and one in the library for all student use. There are two gymnasiums, one used only for gymnastics. The school operates a television channel for student news as well as a radio station, WBRH 90.3 FM."

"I think the school is great. All the classrooms are mixed with 9-12 graders. The school is big and very diverse. Everybody gets along, we act like a big happy family. One thing that i would change is the teaching methods and the way classrooms are set up. By this you could have all the students that are visual learners and etc in their own individual class. That way the teachers could get through the lesson and everybody could get on the same page."

"I like Baton Rouge Magnet High School because it serves classes that help you get credit classes for college. I wish they add more fun classes like cooking class and activities like pep rallies or games."
