"Lamar High School has given me a suitable education. The academics are not challenging but enough to push students. There are a variety of organizations to become a part of such as, FBLA, Literary Guild, Math Club, Science Club, and History Club. The teachers are great educators that support and encourage students to do beyond their best. Lamar High School is a small campus, so it is easy to navigate through."

"It is amazing we are a family. We have stopped the "cliques" we are all one now ...we have family groups (each teacher has a group of kids ) and we absolutely love it . Our school spirit is of the roof I am amazed at it ...my mom asked if I wanted to go back to my old school( which I freaking loved ) and I pretty much looked at her like she was crazy and said . Why go to a gravel road when I'm at the diamond mines"

"Lamar High School does its best. Right now, however, there is an overcrowding issue in the high school with the recent addition of the 8th graders to the building. The halls are crowded and rushed when the bell rings. This should be resolved when the new high school is constructed and complete, and the construction of the new high school is definite and forthcoming."

"Challenging yet sort of unorganized. Teachers weren't that passionate but there were a couple of great educators. Wasn't a big advocate of arts or theater or even sociology or philosophy. A basic private school, but should've been more than that for the cost that it was."
