"Some of the teachers are not teaching subjects they are very familiar with. If they are certified, they get put in the classroom, regardless of their knowledge."

"The elementary is the best its been in years. The teachers in the elementary, for the most part, really know the child personally and strive to help them if they're struggling. The technology has really increased in the last three years in this school. The Spring Festival is very unique to Hinton Schools. The program has been held for almost 60 years. We are probably one of the only schools in the nation to still wind a May Pole."

"Hinton is a typical small town with politics running free everywhere. In a way I think seeing the bad made me a better person so I have an appreciation for it. The staff here is not bad, there are teachers who clearly wish they werent teaching but also some that are really golden."

"Great diversity and culture. Not a whole lot of cliques other than the common ones."
