"I like how the school is small enough so you know about everyone in the school. I would like if they changed the no backpack rule."

"Hollis, Oklahoma is a small rural community, where everyone knows everyone. Our high school is a tight-knit web of kids. Our student teacher is one of the smallest in Southwestern Oklahoma. That being said, students are noticed more and better equipped for learning. School spirit is an enormous quality Hollis has. Every school sport we "bring the noise" and cheer our athletes to success. Having attended Hollis High School for 3 years, I have realized how welcoming our community is and how supportive we are in whatever anyone needs."

"I liked the small community and how it was really easy to get to know everyone including the teachers on a more personal level. The things i didnt like though are the coaches teaching some of the history classes. I didn't learn at all with them. Another issue was the bias in sports that i was able to observe while i was enrolled. If your family was friends of the coaches family you will be chosen as an automatic starter despite you not being good."

"It is lacking in education. It is primarily a sports school."
