    "My experience at Berkner has been trivial. I feel like it has helped me mature as a person and in that regard it has prepared me for college and life in general. on the other hand I haven't really gathered much academically, I haven't learned anything exceptional that I will taking with me when I enter college in the fall."

    "I am a Junior currently, about to be a Senior, and Berkner has been a mixed experience for me, though not a wholly unpleasant one. I've made many friends and had the opportunity to join multiple activities and clubs like our IMPACT club, Academic Decathalon, Berkner World Affairs Council, and NHS. The food is definitely pretty horrible, but it's edible, so I guess that's what matters. There are often fights that break out each week, but they are quickly controlled by our resident police officers that are friendly, caring, and do plenty to make us students feel safe. The AP classes often have excellent teachers, aiding me in getting High scores on my AP tests. Berkner is very diverse, and many compare it to a miniature United Nations, which is really enjoyable, because I have friends from around the globe, including refugees from Syria and South Sudan. I've learned a lot from my teachers and my friends, and though the huge student body sometimes frustrates me, I enjoy Berkner overall."

    "The extracurriculars at Berkner High School were amazinf to be a part of and has made everyone feel involved in the community. One thing I would like to see changed is the improvement in the facilities and academics as well. The staff is for the most part adequate, but the curriculum they teach is poor."

    "Berkner is diverse and has good STEM teachers that care about us being academically prepared for the oncoming year. Our marching band is what the other RISD schools mostly know us for, since we did go to state this year."
