"Wylie East was, and still is, a fresh and developing school. We tried different lunch schedules, different study hall programs, and even changed how long the passing periods were. It is still being built on and improved every year. Most of the teachers were passionate about what they were teaching, and those same teachers were passionate about the students. Wylie East and Wylie High has an amazing rivalry that was fueled by the Crosstown Showdown (discontinued), but comes together in community efforts. I still see staff members around town who know my name and continue adding onto the experience."

"Everyone was loving and had the students best interest in mind. They did whatever they could to make us happy and welcome."

"Majority of the teachers care about students and their success. I would like to see a change in how strict the school is with clothing, and more protective of their students regarding bullying etc."

"The Pre-AP and AP classes overall were very respectable and taught the course material well. The regular classes, not so much. The homework load was manageable in most classes easily, notable exceptions being Pre-AP Precalculus, BC Calculus, and Pre-AP and AP Biology. School events were sometimes organized very well and sometimes were poorly organized and executed."

"High school is a time to explore what you like and what you don t like, and more often than not, everyone has their own niche or interest that drives their passion. You will wake up in the morning groggy and tired, wanting nothing but 10 cups of Starbucks frappes. You will also find yourself sleeping at wayyyyyyy later bedtimes and getting wayyyyy less hours of sleep than humanly comprehensible. Your first period every day will be dead quiet. You will hear every pin drop on the floor."
