"Franklin D. Roosevelt High School offers amazing classes such as culinary arts, health science, anatomy, medical terminology, pharmacology and pharmacy tech class. My overall high school experience with F.D.R isn t what I expected it to be. I imagine my experience to be like the movies. However Franklin D. Roosevelt teachers are amazing and very helpful. I am so thankful to have cool teachers ."

"At Franklin D. Roosevelt I was taught very well and I had a strong connection with my teachers and learned a lot from them not just by how they teach but the way that they are and act around us."

"I was part of the class of 2014. Majority of the teachers and staff really cared about the students which made school enjoyable. The one downfall for me was the curriculum. Most days when given classwork I would finish in about 15-20 minutes and talk the rest of class. The only classes where I really felt challenged were AP English and Pre-AP Calculus. 90% of days I would have NO homework. I think it needs a more challenging curriculum and new ways to make sure students are engaged. When I went to college after graduating I felt as if I was not properly prepared for college courses or curriculum as most of my classmates at University were. I also feel that the faculty needs to be stricter. They are pretty lenient and I see students wandering around when I visit. I want to see the students takeaway something from their time at Roosevelt. Give them a foundation and prepare them for the work field or college. I love this school and know it can be great if changes are made. Go Mustangs!"

"What I like about Roosevelt is that the teachers try to push you and keep you going. However, the constant unexpected changes that have been going on in school have made it extremely hard too get around. The school lunch is not very favorable to most of us."
