"They school pretends to be "inclusive" and supportive of children with learning differences, but it's not true. They don't know how to help children with dyslexia, etc. In reality, once a child is in 1st grade, they are under pressure to learn at a certain pace, otherwise they are not offered a contract for the following year. There is a high drop out rate, especially mid-year in December."

"There were some good teachers there who truly cared about the students, but others shouldn't have even been teaching. Ever since the new Head of School took over, true concern about students went out the window and self promotion took over. They tout the school as being "inclusive", but so not true. They also say they work well with "learning difference" students. This couldn't be farther from the truth. Often completely disregarding the learning guidelines and accommodations recommended by experts. No dual credit classes. No weighting GPA even though coursework is much harder than public and other schools. Variety of classes were limited. At our time there, college guidance was a joke. I have heard there has been some improvements in that area recently . School spirit is practically nil. Practically more clicks within the adults than the students."

"Friendly parents, diverse student body. Many teachers are outstanding, and they are truly the school's assets. The head of school is trying to improve the school's rankings, and it seems that's all he really does. The Head of Lower/Middle/Upper School are aloof. The buildings are split which is very inconvenient if you have kids on both campuses."

"I loved the teachers and faculty there! Everyone is so supportive of your success and they truly care about the individual. They make class interesting and push you to learn and think outside of the box in different ways. Parish also has cutting edge programs such as the Leadership Institute, ParishAbroad, and the NASA Rover Team."

"Attended high school. A solid college prep school. The class sizes are small and for the most part, the teachers are good. The Episcopalian factor is deeply integrated in the life of the school but does not exclude or discredit any other religions."
