"I would like there to be nicer principal and vice principal. Some more teachers that remember what is was to be our age and not so mean. Better counselors. The counselors we have now are never available. I have not really had a really good senior experience like I expected....not enough recognition towards seniors and events happening for all seniors to graduate. It should be a fun time and exciting for seniors to graduate."

"This review is based off 1996 graduation date and from what I have since learned at other schools and/or college. The teachers were very respectable and great at that time. I believe at my time there we were a small town school but had great students, we did not have the best of everything, but probably did not know any better and that is ok."

"My experience about Gladewater High School is that it gives families who don't have much money to give there children who are different a chance to have a education whether those kids are slow or have a disability. The reason. For example, when I came to Gladewater I had known that I had reading disabilities but I was given the help I needed to be successful in life. Now my reading comprehension has never been better; also my ADHD severe has made a lot of things worse for me during my school years but thanks to Gladewater I got what I have always needed and that was for someone to take certain classes slower than normal for me and let me take tests, projects, quizzes, etc. outside the classrooms."

"Its a overall great school. Its not very big, so everyone knows everyone. Teachers are genuinely very nice and have a compassion for teaching. However, it does have dress-code (which is not very strict, spirit shirt or polo, no frayed jeans no shorts above your knees, so on.) The only problem with the school is that they focus more on what their students wear to school more than their education. Its not enough to notice if you're on the outside, but it's definitely noticeable for those that have attended. Now, I agree that there should be dress-code, but when it comes to being sent home over pants that have a fray in the knee, thats a little unnecessary. Overall, like I said wonderful school. Loved my time there and would repeat it 1,000 times."
