"Mostly known for sports and not for academics and teachers and as well and grades have not made a change"

"I like Kennedale High School because it's a place filled with diversity and excitement. Most of all, I love playing soccer and Kennedale High School offers me the opportunity to play for the soccer team and making new memories and friends. Some of my teachers are fun and can help me when I'm struggling in any assignments and I benefit from those hours of tutoring. However, I would like to see a change with some rules regarding semester exemptions."

"I have gone to school in the Kennedale District for almost 13 years. I have met many people and learned a lot, but unfortunately I've had more negative than positive experiences. The school is full of cliques, the time sensitivity is nearly non-existent, and more focus is on sports in comparison to the arts. The best part about the high school has to be the teachers. Of course some just teach to be coaches and don't show interest, but others show passion and help the students grow as people. This year may is probably the hardest due to the fact that the high school has a new principal which has been hard on both the students and teachers. The worst part about this change is that the students are being treated like children rather than young adults which is not preparing us for life after high school. Overall, I'd have to say that the school is tolerable and not all that bad, but it does have bad elements."

"Our school spirit and pride is astounding! The encouragement that most teachers give students is great and I'm sure that it contributes to our UIL academic success. Kennedale high school is small but, it is the place to be."

"Overall, Kennedale High School gave an average learning experience. I personally did not like the lack of variety in the classes that could be taken there. For example, the only language that can be learned there is Spanish."
