"Parents aren't as involved here but the ones that are take other students into account and try to run everything so it doesn't fail."

"Rio vista was a pleasant school but it is slowly going downhill! I much prefer my new school Grandview and it's excellent academic qualities and teachers."

"I moved there when I was 10 years old, and I instantly made friends. I never felt out of place. I knew everybody and everybody knew me. You were never alone. The teachers cared for you and actually took time to help you. Fellow classmates became family. I moved to Idaho my sophomore year of high school, and I am currently in college and I am still connected with my friends from Rio Vista. It's a very good school."

"I never had any bad experiences while attending this school. The spirit of students could be improved at pep-rallies, but overall it's a pretty average school. Friends are easy to make and easy to lose because of the fact that everybody knows everything about everyone. However, it is such a small school that you have to learn to live with your "enemies". Honestly I made good friends and had good times here so I would do it all over again if I had too."

"We do a lot of in class work, but I am speaking as a dual-credit student. I've never really had homework, and I'm not sure if that's because I finish my work or the teachers don't want us to have homework, because most of us have jobs. Our teachers are great. They're all helpful and good at what they do. We have a pretty good range of activities, and we get enough work to keep us occupied, but not overpower us."
