"Went here for six years as a theatre student. Had many experiences to be on stage and backstage. Very small classrooms so you have a lot of one-on-one attention from teachers."

"I have been attending Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts for 3 years now. I have been very pleased with the faculty and teachers. It is an overall positive place and a safe environment. This school accepts all students big or small which is a feature not all schools have. I would recommend this school even for people with the littlest anount of talent."

"I extremely enjoin the one on one training I am receiving at FWAFA. This is true for both my academic and fine arts courses. In my graduating class alone there are 46 people, making our classes throughout the day moderately small. These small classes allow the teachers to make a connection with each child and help them in growing. At a young age we are taught how to conduct ourselves in a professional manner and how to balance school all while being very involved in extracurricular activities. Many students are required to participate in a performance group of some kind during the year, leaving students to learn how to manage school work, social lives, and out side of school activities. However I would like to see the school be split into separate high school and middle/elementary school buildings. The high school performing arts programs are required to perform material that is suitable for third grade students prohibiting them to perform a variety of material."

"It is a very well run. The small charter school has a lot to offer for everyone. There are multiple levels of artistic ability that they can cater too. The education alone is superb!! The teachers really invest in their students. The teacher to student ratio would probably be 1:20."
