"I would like to see the teachers more involved in students life s and more hands on education. A great thing about Saginaw is anyone can blend in, there are NO cliques what so ever."

"Being at Saginaw High taught me how to have pride for my school and my community. Saginaw High School is like a big family who helps one another."

"Academic wise it was okay. I don't like how they barely put any effort into encouraging students to be on top of their post high school plans. They can put a lot of time and money into things like the bistro and athletics. But not to make the PSAT's free or to have better school equipment. The counseling department was perhaps the worst. No one really knew anything, they just directed you to other people and have you running on a wild goose chase."

"honestly my experience was awful at Saginaw. I wish it wasn t, but it was. The academics were incredibly lacking, with the exception of a few specific teachers. A lot of the food was cheap and then overpriced when selling to students. Also, there were hardly ever any vegetarian options, and when a meal could be modified to take the meat out, the cafeteria ladies refused to even just set the meat on the side. Small things, but they all add up to make this school terrible. Don t even get me started on the discipline aspect of this school. Punishing those who did nothing wrong and letting those who did get off clean, scaring students into doing what the teachers want, general lack of listening skills... and the students here are rude and honestly not very bright. It makes it hard to take classes at the right skill level because there s either bottom of the barrel basics or difficult AP classes, there s not much in between for those that would fit there."

"What I like about Saginaw are the instructors. They help every student as much as they possibly can and the administrators are wonderful. However, I feel at disadvantage. I can't be friends with teachers and the students are very vulgar and unaccepting."
