"Some of the best teachers I've ever been taught by reside in Frost, Texas. Mr. Montfort has a commitment to Spanish that blew me away and made me want to learn as well as Mr. Lunsford. He MADE History fun. He always had you wondering what's next. From games to projects and even the assignments, his class was amazing. The new physics teacher, I have heard is one of the best. I've seen the work he's put in. Some of my peers whom I thought were just lost in space, consisting of no brain, have changed. They are actually learning which impressed me to a point unknown. So for the most part, there's very few who I consider great (other students agree as well as former alumni), but there are amazing teachers down here."

"I'm not graduated yet, I graduate in May. I feel as if I'm not going to make it. I'm so close to dropping out even though I'm fixing to graduate as Valedictorian of my class. To be completely honest, the only thing keeping me going anymore after the ridiculous crap I've been through lately is the fact that I KNOW the principal over high school hates me. She doesn't want me to reach my goals but I'm not worried about it. The teachers know it, too. She's taking everything away like going to Homecoming and then on to Prom because of my orientation, but I'm not worried about it. I'm going to fight the Prom subject with the ACLU backing me. As for applying to colleges and feeling ready for the "real world" I'm going to be honest with you, I'm lost. My family isn't rich. They are not all that successful, we struggle. So, they do not really know how to help me."

"It's not really the school that's great it's the students that make it great. I think the administration has their priorities wrong. Like buying the football team Subway to eat in the cafeteria while the bathroom door is broken so you have to put your foot up against it while you try to use the restroom. As well, it is very sad that even the teachers talk about how the school wouldn't pay for a student to go audition for a scholarship but they can afford to buy the food for cheerleaders and football players. I have no problem with them buying it, when the money isn't more of a necessity somewhere else. Which would you consider more important, feeding kids Subway instead of school lunch for a day (when they can clearly afford to chip in and buy it themselves) or changing a child's life forever. I mean, to me it sounds as the famous Chinese proverb, "Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, feed him for a life time." I could be wrong. Maybe it's just me. Or, maybe it's not. You have some of the greatest teachers I've ever been taught by, basically giving up because of things like this. It gives them no hope. You have OBVIOUS favoritism. The more popular kids get away with whatever they want while the others get in trouble for lesser wrongs. I'm not complaining, I'm a popular kid and I've done a lot, but things other people get in trouble are a lesser wrong than I've done or most people in my class have done. If I had it to do all over again, I'd never come over here. Ever. My friends as well as my parents struggling are the only thing that kept me going."

"My School is a small school, everyone knows everyone.i love it! My school is pre-k through high school all in one building. Friday night lights and other sports are highlights to this little town. We aren't just a school but a family."
