"I had a bad experience as a senior at Yates High School. there was no diversity, not many food options, and limited freedom due to the environment."

"I've attended Yates since I was in the 9th grade . I've always wanted to go there but when I got there it was a different expirence than I thought. I got the education I needed I always been in pre ap and ap classes but they were never really that advanced. Although the school might be unorganized I always seem to get what I have to get done"

"My high school experience was okay. I made many accomplishments throughout the years. I was a lionette, an officer, good friend, award winner from UiL, and got accepted to college. There were times where I did not get my way at first or at all. There were some people who didn t understand that I was not like them, so they could not change me. I learned quite a bit about myself. I am a free spirited person; I prefer to do as I please with no one else involved. I would do something I know I would faiy at because I want to prove to myself that I am able to try at something. I put myself at high stakes with little reward a lot in my high school career. I joined One Act Play because I want to challenge myself. I became an officer because i want to prove to myself that I wasn t afraid to fail. Yet I got the position by pure luck. I am proud that I tried to do things that failed to prosper. It proves my durability and acceptance of one s limits."

"Yates Has been the most difficult but learning experience. They gave us hope that we can do anything we want to if we just put our minds to it -Demetrias Lenford"

"Yates High School is a wonderful school to attend because the teachers make sure that you are getting ready for the real world. They teach everything that needs to be taught and give you the amount of work as a preview as to what college will look like. I felt like I came a long way in be able to grasp concepts because they make sure that the teaching is understandable. The school is now getting rebuilt and expand because of how great we as a whole have become. I really enjoyed all of my four years at this school and I feel well prepared to move on to the next level. Sometimes I may have gotten tired but what person doesn't? I believe I'm going to be just fine once I take the next step in the real world."
