"Magnolia West was a warming and welcoming environment from the first day of my freshman year, to the day I graduated 4 months early. I would not have wanted to attend all my years of schooling in any other school district, Magnolia Independent School District really is the best. Teachers take time out of there busy lives to stay after school and help their students strive for success. Magnolia West is not just a school to it's staff and students, it is home."

"Magnolia West was one of the friendliest communities I have ever encountered! I, personally, did not experience any drama and every staff member was there to help at any chance they got the opportunity to. The only thing they need to improve on is the way their upper AP classes are taught. Instead of sending a book home for the student to read and wasting class time doing tedious tasks that are only helping a little - if at all - the students could read together in class and discuss amongst each other about the subject matter they read in class."

"Got me through school enough to survive and make good grades, but overall the students and staff were obviously biased towards a certain race. Often felt secluded and overlooked because of the color of my skin, and the fact that it was a rarity in the area."

"I am a junior at MWHS and I am a member of the IB diploma program which is new to my school this year. I make mostly A's and I have a great set of teachers behind me that continue to encourage my peers and I. My school is pretty diverse when it come to the students that attend. All of my classes are well mixed and being a part of the IB program is helping me make new friends with people i wouldn't normally be with. Not only am I in the IB program, my school also has the National Honor Society and a Student Leadership group that I am also a part of. This school has become a major part of my life and I couldn't imagine myself anywhere else. I have a great group of friends and teachers that have became family. Even though this is a great high school I can't wait to graduate and attend a medical school, hopefully Baylor University, where I can begin my journey to neuroscience or another kind of life changing medical profession."
