"New Waverly is a small school district in a rural town, and due to it being a small district it allows the students the chance to know their teachers, and the teachers to know their students. The school provides a very interactive environment, and the curriculum at times ,can challenge you to push yourself. Which in turn, makes you want to succeed."

"I liked that it was small school, which makes for a better learning environment. In comparison to a bigger school, teachers are able to grant students the attention that is necessary. In addition, the school was very connected to the local community so pretty much everyone was familiar with one another."

"New Waverly High School is a very good school. I have attended this district since i was in Kindergarten and have enjoyed every second of it. The teachers here are all very helpful and caring. If you are going through trouble they are they to listen and help. One thing i really liked was our sports program. This past year we had a booming year for sports, meaning pretty much every sport made it to the playoffs. Most of them went past the first round. There is one thing i would like to see change though and that would be our schools lunches. Our schools lunches aren't the greatest with that being said not everyone eats them. Most people dont eat or bring their lunch to avoid having to eat there."

"New Waverly is a great place to learn. I moved here my sophomore year and I wish I had moved sooner. Everyone is so accepting here. New Waverly is one big family!"

"I like New Waverly because there's hardly anyone here, but everyone has that small town mindset. Everyone is constantly in someone else's business. The guys here think they're grown and manly, but they're all little boys."
