"I was in the marching band for 4 years and had a blast. There are tons of successful extracurricular activities, clubs, and sports to be a part of. The academics are top notch and they really help with college readiness. Overall enjoyed my time there."

"The Woodlands High School provides an excellent environment for both students and teachers. It has a very challenging program that prepares its students to be leaders in both their future college and career."

"The Woodlands High School is overall is a challenging school. Many of the harder level classes prepare students really well for college level courses. One flaw however, is there is a huge gap between level, preAP, and AP classes. PreAP doesn't necessarily prepare students fully for AP classes, but that is also what makes AP classes special and a challenge."

"Its a very rigorous school but an excellent education and many activities to join. Teachers were my least favorite part, I think all the math teachers are terrible. They're mean, I had multiple who made fun of me and students for our academics and appearances. They wouldn't offer help after school. Hated my counselors and knew many other students who hated them as well, they didn't help us in any way. I didn't even ask mine for and recommendation letters. The English department made me so happy, they made up for the terrible math teachers. They're all (mostly) sweet and willing to help you in anyway. Definitely take Student Council or Newspaper because the teachers who teach them are great. The sports and academics are great there but be willing to get tutors for the tough teachers. It's high school, some of it sucks and most of it is great."

"I recently graduated from The Woodlands High School this past school year (2016-2017). Overall, I did enjoy some of my time there, but there are many things I wish I could have re-done or wished the school had done differently, in terms of academics. The school is, overall, very competitive, leaving some high school students to feel that every single grade matters, because in the long run, it did. Of course, I do understand that this idea was enforced to give students an idea of what type of competition they may have to deal with in a career, but it just seemed overdone at times. I pushed myself to almost an extreme, having most days feel worse than others. My social life was lacking because I focused so hard on getting everything done and not wanting to do poorly on my tests (especially the AP ones). Now, I know that other students have had a much better experience than I had, but this review I just what I have taken from my own experience."
