"The one thing I like most about Hightower High School is that their main purpose is to make sure we graduate. They have tutorials, honor society's , and they even do boot camps for the grade levels that are about to take STAAR Test when it's close to that time. Even though some of the students may not like how they do things , they still do it anyway to show that they care."

"HHS is taking a serious fall ever since i've been here. Honestly if your not interested in something particularly about HHS then I would say it's not worth the transfer especially since they now opening mostly all the Medial Science Academy classes to all FBISD schools. They run the school like a prison lol and nothing is EVER organized. The classes are fair, they're not hard, but not a blow off either, there is work to be done. And as long as your academically driven, it's quite easy to be at the top 25% or higher amongst your graduating class. Most teachers are chill and cool but some....hmmm yikes??. And if your coming from any other FBISD school other than Willow ridge or Marshall...you'll be better off at any other FBISD school. As a side note I'm a well rounded AP senior lol. Here are a few ratings from my experience.... Academics: 7/10 Clubs & Organizations: 6.5/10 Student body: 7/10 Structure and Organization of events: 0/10... on a real serious note Sports: 8/10?"

"I liked when we had block schedule, when I was a freshman. Which was when one day we had periods 1-4, then the next day we had periods 5-8. It gave us students a chance to complete assignments with no rush. Since that changed, I just enjoyed being able to talk to friends on the way to class. I did like how we had hall monitors, stopping student from just standing in the middle of the hall in a group causing traffic, also stopping couples from making out because that was disturbing. Hightower should change the school food and just be more strict on how they discipline students, because there's a lot of disrespect and violence towards the teachers."

"I enjoy being at Hightower High School because it has allow me to pursue the career I would like to endure by attending the medical academy. Hightower High School is very competitive especially when it comes to athletics. But overall we have really great teachers who really care about us and want to de us do great things in life."

"You can manage your academics with extra curriculars. Some teachers are understanding with the fact that you have other classes and other works, so they try to do everything during their class instead of giving homework."
