"What I like about Deer Park Highschool is the school spirt. With a small town, almost everyone know eachother and you feel close to you classmates more than ever. The school spirt is awesome when it comes to our rival football game. The school hold pep rally s and the town is filled with Deer Park spirit. When Deer Park baseball won state, our most of the classmates attended the game to show spirt. When the got home from the game, the whole community showed their school spirit and showed how proud they were. One thing that I do wish was different is the location of the school. The school is located by the chemical plants and the air doesn t always smell nice. It s not a good thing to live near the chemical plants either because of the pollution it causes. Such as the man made clouds we see outside our school windows. Other than that, I do love my school and it will be surely missed."

"It was a give and take depending on the student. I was one of the lucky ones that the teachers admire. The school needs repairs on the roofing, teachers need to stop being friends, and teachers shouldn't take away passing/excelling students grades to give to the ones that don't do any work. A couple of my teachers threaten to fail me if I couldn't make time to pass, when I was taking time out of my FFA projects to make the grade. I had to threaten to sue one of these teachers so I could take a test."

"The food at Deer Park is better than the food at the college I attend. The teachers were nice. I felt very safe whilst attending the school."

"What I value most from my overall high school experience is how much the school's teachers value education. The teachers I have received during my three years of attendance have really expressed that the want to help me learn and prepare for college. They know that college is tough and difficult, so to prepare me for that upcoming experience the teachers do there best to make sure I understand the responsibilities of a student. They make sure that I understand what is being taught and help me in my trials and errors. Overall, this school is one I would say has done really well to help prepare me for college."
