"During the four years I have attended La Porte High School, I enjoyed how the teachers took their time to help me whenever I was struggling. The teachers there are amazing at their jobs. The school provides the right amount of academics needed for each student, including a program that allows certain amount of students to graduate with an associate's degree. It's an amazing opportunity, which I was lucky enough to participate in. However, La Porte High School is not perfect. Despite the physical changes the district has already made on the building for athletic reasons, I would like to change how La Porte administration deals with their finance so that it could be more directed towards advancing our academic departments."

"I like the new building they built, I would like to change the space the students have to walk in the hallways though and the way they treat each other."

"La Porte High School makes all of their teacher employees stay late on Wednesday and Thursday for the students to be able to get some tutoring and help on assignments. The highschool also gives students an opportunity to catch up on classes by giving them a "Bulldog period." A "Bulldog period" is a free period for students to do homework and get help on classes for incase they can not stay after school. The school gives students a lot of opportunities to succeed. The only thing I would change about La Porte High School is increase safety for the students. Instead of only having security guards drive around the school to make sure no one leaves campus have security guards inside as well. Other than that La Porte High School is a great place to learn."
