"It's a decent school, but there are a few things that could be changed, like getting teachers that are well-versed in what they are supposed to teach. There were a couple classes I had that I didn't fully enjoy because the teacher didn't know about what they were teaching, or didn't really teach at all. There are teachers I love because they did an excellent good job at teaching, but there are some that just didn't have a clue. Although it's a safe community, safety is another important thing, the school looks really locked down and safe from the front, but right when you walk around to the back you can just walk right in to the school. The teachers and staff do look out for strange people but, they can't catch everything and someday in the future this could be a problem."

"Almost everyone in Orangefield knows each other and get along well. Also, most of the teachers know what they are doing and are willing to help their students through thick and thin, pretty much assuring a passing grade."

"Overall, it's a decent school for a small town. It needs work, and the administration run off of their past sights of high school instead of looking at the present. They don't really interact with the students. School is kind of run by people who are desperate, they don't really seem like they enjoy what they do. Don't get me wrong, there are a few good teachers and I have had a great pleasure with having big-hearted and passionate teachers who actually enjoy their job."

"I just wish we had more opportunities here - both academically and in extracurriculars. We don't have very many classes other than basics, and we don't have a wide variety of sports. It's a very close-knit community, but everybody here seems to have their own clique."
