"The atmosphere is very negative and controlling. There are not a lot of chances for students to express themselves. Staff could be more helpful when it comes to scholarships and college applications. Some teachers favor the athletes over everyone else and athletic events hold priority over other organizations or events. Safety is ok, since there are only a few fights a year. Some teachers are oblivious to inappropriate discussions and language during class."

"It is a good school ,great teaching staff and counselors, there are some flaws, parents should be more involved, meetings with teachers, counselors and with the principal ,help when the kids Would try to dropout and help them finish highschool ,guide parents thru highschool for graduation college don't wait till senior year. The school should have more improvements at drop off lane pick up lane. Move the parking spaces just for the parents, at the cafeteria its so disorganized at lunch ,kids cut in front of others not enough staff watching and please tell the kids to look up when they get out of school, they never stop to look for vehicle's coming or going ."

"Small school so you're more than likely going to see everyone . We have some good teachers and some that are just there to earn the money. Sports we are good except football . Clubs we advance all the time. Overall pretty successful for being a small 4A"

"I have been going to Bandera High school for four years, and I am currently in my senior year. All the while I have been going the teachers and staff have been very helpful and supportive. They do whatever they can to make sure that your school year is productive and meaningful. The teachers are great, and are very good at what they do. The Principle and the vice principles are very nice and encouraging."
