"My experience is nice. The counselors and staff really try to make the students successful. Zapata High School is known to have great sport teams. Teachers motivate the students to try and to never stop believing. The high school does get the students to be college ready. We have college classes so by the time seniors graduate we have college credit/hours."

"My Experience at Zapata High school has been a great one so far! From the beginning of my freshman year to the middle of my senior year I have no complaints of how I've been treated. the administration is great, very helpful, caring, and generous towards the students! The teachers are great they have led me to be one of the top students in my graduating class. The principles are also great, they make sure everyone is doing well and allow very little room for mistakes. The discipline is good, very rare acts of bullying, and that's a very good thing about the school."

"What I like about Zapata High School is that everyone treats each other with respect and they always know how to work together as a team. The sports played in the school do very well, including the band and the mariachi. Each adult in the school are well mannered and kind. Zapata High School is always recognized by how well behaved everyone is. I honestly would not change a thing."

"The academic scene is average compared to most schools, but that is just an assumption. The students were only taught to the test so they can graduate, only a handful of teachers went above and beyond to prepare their students for the real world."
