"Overland is a place that works against the status quo. Diversity brings us together. We are constantly challenged and supported. But as always, there's room for improvement everywhere, overland constantly works hard to become better than the last year."

"This is a good school, if you where a student here you would love the diversity, love some of the staff you would feel right at home. Nothing can change you from being a blazer."

"As a student who was considered to be bright, I felt there were not many resources that inspired students like myself. I often felt that "outside of the box" thinking was not encouraged, and furthermore that daring to step outside of that box took away from the academic experience. The AP classes prepared me well for my college courses, however I wish I had taken more Concurrent Enrollment courses, because those are much more likely to transfer- and save a ton of money. I felt that this school did a good job of providing resources for those who were struggling but due to that focus many of the brightest students were not allowed to reach their full potential."

"Overland High School was a fantastic school in many different aspects. The community at Overland was very diverse and welcoming, having students with many backgrounds that made it a functioning community. The staff, teachers, and security always had the students and schools best interest in mind, making it a great learning environment. There were many different options for classes, such as regular, honors, AP, and CE classes for students of different levels. As well as different levels, the classes were inclusive to many different types of students. There were also many wonderful clubs and programs available for each student's interests whether that was Pre-med, French club, or some type of sport. Without Overland, I think I would have lacked the great education, resources, and support to succeed in high school."
