"Most of the teachers were good and helpful. Many after school clubs to join, but you had to go looking for them. Athletics (and only specific athletics) do get large bias towards them within the district. There weren't very many advanced level options for students."

"I'm going to be completely honest, I don't feel safe here. We have had multiple threats and dangerous situations we were not made aware of until too late. There are only a few teachers who actually care about their job, and the rest only want the day to be over. We have brought up many valid points and fears to staff that have gotten ignored. If you are into near death experiences, lies, cliques, and crappy teachers, come to RHS."

"Personally, Roosevelt was a good school for me. I meet quite a few people that I really enjoyed to be around. All the teachers were friendly and pushed the students to stand up for what they believe in, along with being individuals. All high schools have their drama. Lucky for Roosevelt, it was easy to stay out of the drama if you really wished to."

"Our school is mostly known for recent drama and football. The school isnt too bad, but sometimes they just teach things that will not have to to with anything for the real world at all. I wish they'd change the food too. Not too long ago, there was mold on my sanwich (not the first) ans they do nothing but say ok and walk away. One more thing they should change is dress code. If our stomach shows, even by accident, we get yelled at or dress coded. Same with shoulder too. Shoulders don't distract people, nor are they "sexy." But, if a guy shows shooulders, and/or a "attractive or popular" woman's shorts are very short or small, there us no dress coding. Truly sorry that I just pretty much ranted."

"I went through the Weldre5j District from kindergarten up to my graduation day. Growing up through this district is something that I would never want to take back. Everyone who I have encountered throughout my time here at Roosevelt has made me into the successful student I am today. Whether they were classmates, principals, secretaries, teachers, coaches, custodians, or anyone else I bumped into a long the way. Everyone in the Weldre5j District is supportive of all of their students, and I would like to thank Roosevelt High School for everything it has made me."
