"Bonners High School has a great close community that supports them considering that it is in a small town. The teachers have the opportunity to help their students individually because of the smaller school size and are able get to know each one of their students. Though Bonners Ferry high school is underfunded they still manage to provide their students with a wide variety of elective choices and provide the gear up program and dual credit classes to prepare their students for life after highschool."

"Our school is like one big family. Our principle's wife had her baby premature, so our school has been raising money to pay for their hotel rooms and medical expenses. The teaching is phenomenal and the teachers are always willing to help when necessary. The students are more more than happy to help others out as well. The classes are great, though I wish there were a couple more options that fit into the major I want to go in. The counseling department is one of the best I've seen. They don't put you into classes they feel you should have, but the ones that you want. Overall, my school is one of the best, even if it doesn't have as many academic choices."

"While most of the school staff and parents are great, there is bullying from students and not many clubs to join unless its a sport."

"In Bonners Ferry, our school teachers are split into three categories': the Great, the Trying, and the Bad. One of our Great teachers, Craig Anderson, was recently recognized by KHQ for Teacher of thte Month. He isn't just here for the students but for the whole community as a whole. Propably a quarter of our teachers are truly Great. Half of our teachers at least try, they are constantly working harder to help us students. The Bad are teachers just in it for the low pay check and pick favorites and lose all of the other students' work. Luckily only the last quarter of teachers are bad!"

"It's a typical school, different social circles based on your interests."
