"The curriculum throughout the school year is truly challenging. The learning does not "settle' but forces each student to go past their limits and really discover what they can accomplish. Providing Ap- classes, students are motivated to push their limit at all times. This school personally has inspired me to not just learn in class but to go and explore the world for myself. University high school has given me the tools to critically analayze the world around me."

"I like the close relationships students get to build at UH. All of the students gets to know eachother and connect. Some things I would change is the amount of supplies and resources that are given. It would be nice if we had more supplies for school."

"UH is a very challenging school, but has helped me grow as a student. I would love it if we had our own campus or more U High only events."

"Overall, I have had a great experience here at University High School. The students are great because we all chose to be here for the same reason, to go to college and succeed, and the teachers really push you to do your best. What I would like to see change at UH is to get our own campus, Because we are such a small school, we share a campus with Tolleson Union High School, but I would love to see UH finally be its own, independent school!"

"University High prepared me for college, I can tell you that much. The teachers were great, and truly cared about our well being. The school however, is in a really poor district. Lots of basics at other school, like theatre, arts, and sports were threatened to be cut due to budget cuts, or simply didn't exist. The class selection was slim; there weren't many classes that allowed students to experiment in topics they may later pursue as a career (business, coding, woodworking, design etc.), that I know other schools have. At University High, you leave prepared to take on college, but you also leave with a lower GPA. At Tolleson, the UH's sister school, many students leave unprepared for college, but with a 4.0 GPA. These students have access to more scholarships, and the prepared grads of UH may have a hard time finding scholarships or getting into schools with their 3.5 GPA. It was a great learning experience, just be prepared for a challenge."
