"What I liked about Bernalillo High School was what it's resources have offered me, only in my junior year. In the begginging as a Freshman I didn't really know what I needed to be doing as a high school student to make sure I have a good future. I came to this high school my freshman year welcomed and told this was an important time but not encouraged to find out why. Though they've pressured us to carry around binders for "college readiness." They have not prepared me at all. I felt behind so I went to my counselor, and our schools new College and Career counselor. They told me I was one of the few juniors who was taking an interest in my future this early. They gave me so much needed information and on what I needed to be doing/considering as a high school junior. So, in all I feel what BHS could do better is informing their students from the start what they need to be thinking about and encourage us to find it out because wasn't"

"I love my school and how small it feels and is. People somtimes see us very different than what we really are. I wouldn't change anything about my school because our teachers are awsome and our principals care about us."

"Staff is nice and always helpful towards students. Staff in administration are unorganized and unfriendly."

"Bernalillo High School was like most other high schools- bullies, good teachers, bad teachers, etc. There were people that worked there that clearly did not care about the students. However, there were also those select few that truly cared and wanted to make a difference. These were the people who mattered to me and who helped me the most throughout high school."
