"I loved going to Los Lunas High School. I thoroughly enjoyed my classes, the teachers, and extracurricular activities."

"I think your experience will depend on which classes you take and what sports/clubs (if any) you participate in at this high school. There are many teachers and faculty who are truly dedicated to their job and work hard to see their students succeed. They make the experience of learning fun and are always willing to help. Others.. not so much. This school is more dedicated to academics in the sense that there aren t many elective classes like home ec., dance, journalism, etc. They do however offer Pre-AP, Dual Credit, and AP options for core classes and select elective classes. As for sports and school spirit, I say the sports section is average and the school spirit is a little low. There are only a small amount of clubs and activities to join, but they do have the basic student council, class council, NHS, band, MESA, etc. The facility is new and was recently finished being renovated (2015). Overall, if you re looking for a school that has good academics this school should do it"

"When I attended there I felt I was getting the appropriate education and tools to help me be ready for the real world. I now hear that it has really improved in the facility and the classes offered. I felt it was a fun and safe place to learn."

"I am a student at this high school and I have attended this school for all four years of high school. It is one of the better schools in the Valencia county. During my time here I have had a great experience, the teachers are great and most of them are willing to stay and give you that extra help. Those teachers are the ones who want to see you succeed and follow your dreams. Some of the clubs at our school help with as well as shaping the person you become. I am in student council, class council and National Honors Society and they all have helped to give me that push to be different and that better person."

"I liked that they tried to be a "hands-on" school but in reality they're not. It's a public school in a low-income town and the school district didn't really care like they said they did. But I did like that there were some teachers that did care and did help. The school try to do things to get the students active in things with the school or for seniors preparing for college."
