"Desert Rose is a hidden gem for education. Being an adult/behavior school, many tend to believe it is tough school...and it is. The students may be a bit intimidating but it is nothing to worry about, just keep to yourself. However, the staff at this school is amazing. They really care to see you succeed and they are always proud to see those who choose to pursue their education. Many of those who attend Desert Rose are usually older and all they want to do is finish High School. I was just there to gain a few credits that didn't transfer when I moved, but the whole process was as easy as can be. I absolutely thank Ms.Melton and Mr. Tyler for being the best teachers anyone can ask for, they made this transition way easier. So all in all, I say to people to not be afraid just because this school has a "bad reputation", give it a chance and who knows, maybe you'll find it better than traditional High School."

"When I went to Desert Rose High School in 2016-2017 school year. I originally went there to pass my science test and I did in July I was happy when I got the passing score of 301."

"Desert Rose is a highly coagulated educational system. There wasn't a moment in time where i didn't have a good time. the teachers are great and taught me way better than any teacher i had. they helped me pass all my state tests easily. thanks to them im in college and working hard. Desert Rose has a lot of activities there to do, they're always involved in holidays and whatnot. Especially for those who have little babies. If i had to recommend a school to anyone to go to, it would be Desert Rose. Hopefully you have full understanding of why Desert Rose is a great school."

"They give you the years work up front, you finish it and they grade it very fairly... and your done. If you have questions about anything they are always happy to help. You move onto the next credit/class needed without waiting in the class bored out of your mind."

"I never had peer pressure or bullying at this school, it was really nice. I was accepted quickly into a very diverse group and spent my time out of class (lunch/breaks) with them, even after school hours, I made some great friends."
