"I had a great time; I met great staff! The only downsides are that resources for students are cutting down."

"My Belmont High experience was beneficial and positive. The staff and students were accessible and always willing to come along side and offer assistance when needed. When attending sports activities, student dances and clubs on campus I experienced positive and educational interaction. My teachers were always available when I needed extra attention. They were encouraging and always expressed a promising educational future if I was focused and determined. The campus was layed out in in an accessible and open atmosphere. I always felt safe and protected. The student population is diverse and friendly. The counselors are available and accessible. They express a strong interest in seeing students succeed not only in high school but in continuing educational futures in college. I am in a habit of bringing my own lunch and snacks to school so I rarely eat at school. In general, I believe all schools could use more nutritional and less fat and sugary foods on their menus."

"Going to Belmont has been great, I have met new people and have been able to make friendships that I know will last for a long time. Although there are 3 different academies, you don't necessarily learn things related to your academy but rather socialize with everyone. I would like to see the 3 different academies get more focused on what their main point is but at the same time let everyone interact with anyone like it currently is."

"I had a great experience there. Joining a team really helped me stay focused and out of trouble. The surrounding neighborhoods arent the safest to be around after school. Teachers there were caring and passionate about their subjects."
