"I would like to say the whole community at Eagle Rock remains very welcoming and helpful. The school has prideful events, especially when you become a senior or is in many extracurricular. It makes a huge difference when everyone is involved and that's what sets Eagle Rock apart from many LAUSD schools. We are proud in our work, our programs and our activities that help us become better students. Whether it helps our community or it gathers people together for commencement of renewal alternatives for saving and providing awareness to more important things. This school is absolutely caring and indulging. If you ever have the chance to visit, please do."

"I really like attending this school because of its MAGNET and IB program. It's a healthy, competitive environment for students who take school seriously and need the drive to succeed. I also appreciate the diversity of Eagle Rock; we have all kinds of ethnicities here. I think we can improve on the cleanliness of the school a little more, though."

"Eagle Rock High School provides a comforting atmosphere to its students. The teachers have a way of transcending their responsibility to teach students academically. Their personalities are inviting and they truly encourage students to not only pursue their aspirations in life, but remain their best self in the process. The school was the first in Los Angeles Unified School District to adopt the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program so it definitely provides students the option to the strongest educational experience in the district. The program continuously pushes its students to become global thinkers, which helps develop students to become aware and understanding of the world around them. However, one draw back I realized over the years is the declining Arts program. It seems as if it's lacking support from the student population, which can be detrimental for some students' educational experience in high school."
