"I liked the sense of community and togetherness View Park fosters. Considering the fact that it is majority African American and as a proud African American, me and my niggas have a ball. What I would like to change about View Park is having more bully control and less regulations for the vending machines. I deserve to be able to mix anything I want with an actual sprite, not "apple juice"."

"My experience at View Park Prep High School was good. The teachers were very helpful and the school do offer fun activities such as a prep rally and fair. Some students are disrespectful while others are more serious about their education. Overall, I had a great experience at View Park."

"My experience at View Park was good, at first you can see all the flaws that they may have but after you graduate you see that they weren't that many and that you may have over exaggerated for the last 4 years. This school is mostly African American and that's another thing I loved about it because the teachers, administrators, and classmates can connect and understand you; because they've been in your position and they've also walked the same streets with the same skin color as you. They know exactly what kind of looks you may get from others and it helps you out when the person you're speaking to really understands. One thing they can get better at is being more organized. Other than that there's little small things now that may seem big while you're in there but trust me it'll all be so small and worth it once you graduate."

"My View Park Experience wasn't that great. I experienced teacher who didn't teach well. My freshman year a lot of teachers were leaving because of how disrespectful the students were. View Park would be better if we had teachers who care."

"View Park Preparatory High School has had a positive impact on the academic enrichment aspect of my life. From 6th grade until my senior year, I have noticed a huge change in myself. The staff and teachers have worked effortlessly to get me to succeed in life. From the encouraging words from the english teachers, to the skillful way the math teachers solve situations in and out of the classrooms, I have learned a lot. Growing and achieving can really help out so much when you really need to get the job done, so my principal says, and he is right. You can not grow in this world and take anything from that. Motivation to be the best you can be and to strive for greatness is what I took away from my experience here. I use to give up without trying because I didn t think anything would matter after a while, but eventually the little things will start to make a huge difference in the future."
