"South East Highschool has been such a great experience for me. There is always an event going on year round, whether its school dance, a sports home game, or a club event. Students at South East are very prideful in their school and education. One thing I do wish that could change would be for the cafeteria to provide better food."

"I am currently a senior in South East high school and so far it has been a good one. I feel the the teachers and administrators have encourage the students to prepare for college. I have attended South East since freshman year and I have seen the they care for our future."

"To start off, the staff is very involved in trying to get the students in the "I'm going to college" mindset. Before you even attend the high school as a 9th grader, you attend a college ready workshop with current college students on the panel sharing their experiences with those incoming students. They do this to expose them to the college world at an early age. Something I wish could change is the way they require all seniors to complete a year-long project named the "Service Learning Project (SLP)." Having a project that challenges you and prepares you for college is a good idea, however, it would be better if they didn't make it all about the SLP. Government teachers, which are in charge, seem to forget that the students have six classes to attend each day. This happens because they refuse to collaborate with other teachers on how they can best work it out. There are many other aspects both good and bad about the school, but overall it was a very good school."
