"I liked that Buena Park high school had such a diverse group of people, as teachers and administrators and also of students. I liked that the new principal was so caring of the school and the students that he went out of his way to make sure that everyone stayed happy and safe. He gave us the best graduation ceremony that Buena Park High School has ever seen!"

"I definitely have to give credit to the AAA (advanced academic academy) program that was once a part of "Coyote Country". Without the teacher's and administration's support I don't think i would have know or heard of UC Berkeley much less been accepted, but fortunately I applied and was admitted. To them i say thank you. All of the teachers I had were of great value not only in teaching their respective subjects but also life lessons. The only class I saw pointless was A.P environmental Science. We did nothing but watch videos do crossword puzzles and word searches along with a pinch of "experiments". I never much saw the school as "racially diverse" given that the grand majority were latino students but I do consider it diverse with respect to the number of clubs and organizations available to students. Though the food was never that great and the system of education was incorporating questionable new programs to help students, I am still a proud Buena Park Coyote."

"Throughout the years I have been here, it has been an amazing experience. I have been able to improve on my strategic skills such as critical thinking and managing my time more wisely and thoroughly. Also I have been able to become a more organized student and it's all thanks to AVID. Overall, Buena Park High School has everything a student needs to be a successful student."

"For being here for four years, I can truly say that I loved and enjoyed my time at Buena Park High School. Just like any other school and anywhere you go, you are going to have your ups and downs. But, I feel that the difference between other schools and Buena Park is the environment and the people in it that make your hard times good. There are so many teachers and staff members that you can go to for anything. I have created so many bonds and connections with so many people here. I love being in such a good environment that also gets me prepared and ready for beyond high school. I can say this for both in and out of the classroom. Not just college and academically, but for your future, your career, and socially. With all of these reasons, this is why I love my high school, Buena Park."
