"My experience with Monrovia High School has been pretty good. I love that the school academically prepares students for college. Amazing courses to choose from (ap and regular). However, I feel that the elective classes need more attention/effort in order to be just as successful as an academic rigorous class. I did not like sculpture, because the teacher was unreasonable by making students pay nearly 100 bucks just for him to be in his office all day and no tutorials whatsoever. I have had friends say they did not have a good experience in other electives either. Some of which include art and digital design. The electives at Monrovia High School need improvement. As far as sports and clubs, there are many to offer and it allows our school to be more connected. Overall, I had a great 4 years at Monrovia High School and wish the school and future students much success."

"My experience at MHS was a really good one. Most of the people I interacted with and talk to were all genuine and nice. The teachers were there for the student and tried to help them succeed. The only downside I noticed about the school that it did not offer a lot of help when picking and applying to colleges. I felt as though I was on my own to figure out the application process."

"Monrovia High school has been quite the experience. While located in between both duarte and arcadia, the school certainly has its share of people that don't seem to care about college and seem to think that partying on the weekend is a better time spent. Aside from the people that dont care, the people that do care are a lot of amazing people with extraordinary personalities and will go far in the future. Discipline at school needs to be carried out more often but the school and faculty are fantastic and I couldn't be more grateful for them. My earlier comment, my direct you otherwise, but this school is fantastic and I will be sad and happy to have to graduate from here this summer"

"It is a good school. They have a robotics team and masa for the science/math kids. Starting next year they will have a club just for those people who like history and English."

"Overall, I really like the school. It is a very nice environment and everyone there is very nice. The teachers are very helpful, and they want nothing but the best for all their students. The administration is very helpful as well, and very interactive."
