"Ever since I've set foot on the Vaughn campus I loved it, this school is like no other. The teachers care for us as if we were their own which makes us feel safe, an cared for. I have personally never seen more calm, and polite kids since I've been at Vaughn, and I volunteer at a different school during vacation and those kids are bad. Our school is mostly Latinos, so the diversity isn't that great. My high school is a college prep school so we do a lot of independent work and reading, to prepare us for college life. Vaughn has many clubs from student government to jesus club, for all our students. I would say our food is average, I personally like the food we get, it may not be the best, but it's something, it doesn't taste gross and it's free so there is no complaining there. Overall Vaughn Next Century learning Center offers many opportunities for both parents and students, and I believe this school has been properly preparing me for college since I set foot on these campuses."

"I've been going to Vaughn since I entered kindergarten. Overall my high school wasn't like no other. Our school was really small like small but our buildings were so nice. The school really did take care of the classrooms. Our education pretty much depended on what teacher you had. Some teachers went off the lesson plan given and others had there own way of teaching. Our food was pretty much the average lunch the nasty but edible lunch but I didn't complain because it was free. Vaughn really prepared us for college ever since middle school. In high school they really pushed us to go to college and get involved in our community by doing community service hours. But I always felt that my high school never really cared for those with bad grades, they mainly focused on the kids who will make something out of themselves unlike us loser."

"My High school experience at V.I.S.A. I gotta say going into this School it was scary, it was scary because I knew this was one of the schools a lot of people would want to get into because of how well it was ranked and because this was one of those schools where many of the students already know each other. But little did I know I had nothing to fear. Throughout my 4 years there I have learned that all teachers are very helpful whenever you ask for help they will do their best to get you on the right road to success and even spend extra time helping you. A problem I would change would have to be, on how the school comforts new students in which it would be better if teacher paired new kids with kids who've known each other for years. I do not think this will solve the problem with there being lazy students I think this will solve the problems with students like me who struggled in the first years because they didn't feel confident enough to ask any questions."

"I ve attended Vaughn my whole life and I ve been able to see how it s expanding and growing. In high school they ve prepared me for college in how they are strict in late assignments and how they talk about college a lot more than other schools. They are really invested in their students doing good and attending college, they make sure that they have the high school requirements done. The teachers are very nice and are as well invested in each one of their students, they have extra hours where you are able to have a one on one conversation about your grades, exams, or any type of questions. One thing that I wish they talked more about is how CSU schools are equally as great as UC schools. I thought that if I went to a UC I would be going to a good university but I soon realized that I didn t want to attend a UC but rather a CSU."

"Overall Vaughn is a really great school the only problems I have is how the soccer team is treated. The only complain is how the soccer team is treated. Being on the team last year I can say that we are probably the sport at our school is being treated the worst. We are not provided transportation to home or away games while all the other teams are given school buses to away games. We rarely get to play in tournaments while every other team gets to play in at least 1 tournament. Those are my only complaints, everyone in the faculty is nice from the lunch ladies to the office staff. When you walk in you're greeted by the friendly lunch ladies. The teachers here actually care about you. They are always looking out for you they don't mind staying after school. They are the best."
