"This has been my first year at Steele Canyon and I'm loving it! The teachers, staff, and students make you feel right at home. The block schedule has reduced the workload compared to a normal 6-8 class per day schedule. They cram a lot into each day so you have to always be aware of what is going on in class. Steele Canyon also brings in a group good-hearted students from all around San Diego County, I have made lots of friends and met a lot of amazing people. The location is in beautiful Jamul and the campus is beautifully modern. I would recommend coming to Steele Canyon because this school is first in the Grossmont district, has amazing sports teams and lots of extracurriculars."

"SCHS is a great school. Good people, fairly spirited, and decent teachers. The AP level is where you get the truly good teachers."

"Steele Canyon overall would be a better choice vs. another school simply because it has 4 blocks instead of 7 or 8 periods. Other than that, Mr. Miluso, Mrs. Serban, and Mrs. Smith are the best teachers there and made it memorable. However, the rules there need to be lightened up because there are some unfair towards gender equality and the dress code person is too extreme and will make you late to class and get yelled at for it. The late and tardy rules also need to be altered since some teachers follow them and some teachers go above and beyond to mark you late if youre not sitting in your seat with a piece of paper out with a pencil."
