"So far, as a junior in high school, I have had a great experience; my grades are high, teachers are great, and sport seasons have been an unforgettable experience. Attending a small school, in an isolated area, has been easy to get accustomed to, except, we students don't have the same classes accessible as students that attend a much bigger school. For example, last year I had take French II, but the problem was that the school wasn't able to get a long-term teacher. So, I had to take French II online. The result was really bad. Students were failing, no one understood what was being taught online, and students were getting stressed out because if we failed any classes we were not eligible to play sports, and let me tell you, sports in Borrego is a big deal. Some of the changes I would like to see be made would be; better and more college-ready classes, long-term teachers, more sports equipment, and more clubs or activities for Borrego Spring students."

"In the last three years, being a student in Borrego Springs High School, has been great but could be better. Some of the teachers I've had the chance to be taught by is one of my favorite things out of a handful. They've expanded my mind and I've learned a lot of new things that I'll keep in mind forever. Besides having fun with friends, which is the prime thing most students will say is why they like going to school, my experiences in a few college field trips I've attended were awesome. Along with having a wonderful woman as a counselor who has turned numerous students in the right direction with her help. Looking into things that could've/could be better, is in the way other teachers have taught, to bring back more college field trips in the near future that the school removed due to staff members disliking the counselor who would provide and take us."

"Borrego Springs High School is a very small school. This allows students to connect more with their teachers. The majority of students here are Mexican so you always hear two languages being spoken. Although AP classes are not offered in a classroom at the school, they offer them online so we still have a chance of earning those extra credits. I love that I grew up in my small little town of Borrego."

"I liked that it was a small community and very safe as well. I didn't learn as much as I wanted to, so it could get me ready for college but good community and didn't have the resources for me to get ready for college had to do it on my own that's how much I wanted it thank you"

"No one ever talks about political opinions, whether out of acceptance or fear I'll never know. Mostly unaccepting of different races/orientations/identities."
