"It's a very spirited school but some areas (like a certain bathroom) is disgusting and could use some more tending to. Other than that the teachers and staff are great along with the classes I've been taking :))"

"My experience at Grossmont was truly life opening in the fact that the process of being a freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior has taught me life lessons that I take to heart and learn more everyday. As a senior I look back to my learning from previous years and have seen the reasons why we were taught the way were and why we were taught the material. Currently I go into class and the procedures for work consist of great analytical skill that I take each problem and think about the applications of what I am doing and why I do what I do. I have been enlightened with the knowledge gained from both my physics and calculus classes to see whys in everything. As for clubs the push to make everything more exciting was not there. but when you do get involved in the events the experience is well worth the helping of others and the fun of being able to socialize with people from your school and other parts of your community."

"A lot of educational opportunities are available at this school (from engineering to teaching classes). There are tons of AP classes available as well. The teachers are generally really good. The counselors are really helpful. The sports are awesome too. The school also continues to make newer, cooler looking buildings all the time."

"The best thing about Grossmont High School is the school spirit. School spirit radiates between the students as well as the staff and it makes this school a fun one."

"I'm extremely excited for the final chapter of my high school career. I feel I received a great education and the teaching staff was so helpful going above and beyond, and exceeding my expectations. I truly hated the social component of high school. It felt like certain students, the same group all four years, believed rules didn't apply to them. It felt like everyone turned a blind eye and let this happen. I realize this is part of life but it was very frustrating for me that I worked so hard and was in the top 5% of my class all four years and others got recognition who weren't as motivated. Some of these students were my friends and I just couldn't believe what they got away with. I'm a rule follower so to me rules do apply and should be followed. Needless to say I was there for a great education not for the social aspects because my high school let me down shortly after the beginning."
