"I had a great experience at El Camino. transferred there for my junior and senior year of high school and that was the best decision I've made. The diversity and culture of the school is so positive and fun. Also, i played sports and the teachers were really understanding and worked with us athletes."

"I'm about to graduate in less than 13 days, so I'm pretty happy with my experience at ECHS. I took AP classes (Gov't, Lit, Calc AB, APUSH, Chem, etc. ), I participated in clubs (NHS, Interact, Junior Civitan, Model UN, etc.), and had various interests outside like sports, choir, and journalism. I got accepted to an amazing college, as I was aided by programs like College Bound, TRiO, the college and career lab on campus along with my counselor. Like anything in life, you have to be proactive if you want a change on campus or more attention. Teachers are dedicated to their profession, and many offer tutoring and academic support during lunch, before & after school, etc. The diversity, ethnicity wise, is very evident and adds greatly to the intercultural exchange of ideas and beliefs at school. I'm of mixed origin and many of my friends are as well; there is no great divide between racial groups, everyone knows we all just want to get an education. A great school in a great city."

"Overall my four years in high school were a fun yet stressful time. The environment is full of life and fun. ASB makes sure to hold fun games and music one time a week during lunch and involve the students. The teachers do a good job at teaching, except for a few. What I would like to see changed is to add two classes, home economics to teach much more information needed in life and a culinary class, to which many students are disappointed that we do not have."

"El Camino High school provides students with a good education, plenty of clubs to join, and well organized sports teams. The larger student body makes it difficult to become incorporated into the school if you enter at any year other than freshman year. However, with the amount of student led clubs provided, new students have ways to become a part of the school."

"It overall was a good experience. Being involved in activities such as choir and some drama production impacted me in good way. The majority of the teachers I had were great and enjoyed their job. There was a lot of help especially in concerns to community college and university."
