"Some of the teachers that I had the privilege of meeting made my high school stay at Ramona High quite the lovely experience. They were very enthusiastic, encouraging, and passionate about what they taught and their classrooms were rather comforting and welcoming. Although the school doesn't have the greatest classrooms, restrooms, or buildings, the staff made the school better than it really was. Some classrooms have moldy ceilings, rotting carpets, and broken bell systems (there was once a lockdown that half of the school wasn't aware of, fortunately no one was hurt in the end). Even after graduating, the school stayed as bittersweet and as intriguing as it had always been and I'm sure it'll continue to stay this way so long as the staff doesn't change."

"I liked enjoyed how welcoming the students were on campus. I would change the way the campus looks and the way people treat it."

"I like the effort the school and the community puts in order to bring everyone together. My peers and I have delt with learning issues in mathematics do to the new system "Common Core" that has been established. Not only has the new system been an issue, but also the teachers chosen in the math department have not attempted to satisfy any of the students or in this case make an effort to teach the material needed fore the course."

"One thing I would like to change is the teachers and how the education is handled. Over the past two years teachers have been fired and we have been getting new teachers and them being fired the same year. We also have been getting new principals every year. And that doesn't create a good environment for the students. But one thing I like about our high school is how spirited we are. That makes students have more fun and be more excited."

"Ramona High School is a relatively small school; however, does manage to provide great academic and athletic opportunities. I personally love the atmosphere that certain teachers provide. Most teachers always put their student's education first and the Cross Country and Lacrosse coaches are some of the best people I've ever encountered. Some of the things I dislike are the math department and how often our administration quits. The teachers in the math department do not care for the students and do not do their job when asked to, a majority of the students are failing because of it. In the past three years, RHS has had 5 different school principals and which makes significant and imperative changes impossible."
