"The students and staff are very welcoming of freshmen. I would like to change the fact that not all students have their own lockers."

"My experience at West Hills has exceeded my expectations. The campus is beautiful and the majority of the teachers and staff are devoted to the well being of each and every student."

"I feel as though my experience could've been a lot better. I didn't feel very welcomed when I transferred. The teachers/students treated me as if I was worthless and didn't have potential because I went to a different school which made me lose confidence in myself and my work. Some of the teachers weren't that friendly and didn't seem to care much about my experience there or how helpful they were to certain individuals that needed different teaching methods. Its been a year and I have yet to find a steady job so that I can start school. I also didn't like the campus. I had to run to make it on time. I would have to start packing up before the bell which would frustrate my teachers cause they thought I was being rude when I just didn't want a tardy. The students also weren't very empathetic to others so maybe teaching kids how to be more caring and less self centered. I didn't hate it completely but I've always thought that everything could use improvement."

"I had an amazing experience at West Hills High School. The teachers were so in tune with all of their students and all of them really cared about us and wanted us to succeed while also having a good experience. The staff was incredible and I got to be friends with a lot of them. I made so many friends there that I am still close to today."

"I came here for my senior year, not knowing anyone at all. The students were almost all friendly and the majority of my teachers helped me overcome different obstacles throughout the year. I was on the brink of not graduating due to all the absences I was taking while I was in the hospital throughout my second semester. Each of my teachers took their time to prepare makeup assignments and gave me plenty of time to catch up with the rest of my class. It was nice to know they cared. This school gave a great end to my high school experience."
